How your Liber Score works
Your Liber Score is a number from 0 to 1000 that sums up your history on the platform. We recompute it nightly and publish the full methodology here — no black boxes. Every factor is appealable.
The factors
Verification
Your identity-verification level (email, government ID via KYC, or fully verified account).
Payment punctuality
What share of your rent payments arrived on time. New accounts start at a neutral baseline.
Ratings
The average of the bilateral ratings (1–5 stars) you received, released only when both parties rated.
Completed transactions
How many leases you completed successfully through Liber.
Conduct
Starts at a full baseline and only drops on adjudicated signals: fraud confirmed by our team or serious active disputes. Both are appealable.
Coming soon
These factors are described in our spec but don't affect your score yet. We'll turn them on with notice:
- Deposit-return history (for landlords)
- Message response time
Appeal a factor
If you think a factor is inaccurate (for example, a late-rent flag you dispute), flag it. Your appeal goes straight to our Trust & Safety team and is resolved with full traceability. When we change the algorithm, we version it and notify you if the change is material.
